They seem to think that, when another nation is disturbing the peace of our nation, that the only way to solve this problem is through violent means, most notably war. When one is morally obligated to fight a war for a country, they are fighting for a mere treaty; no war has ever achieved absolute peace. So, if someone is to risk their life for their country, there is no guarantee that they will be securing their country. I will prove through two contentions that individuals are not morally obligated to risk their lives for their country.
