Born on December 25, 1918 into a family of thirteen children, Anwar was a very strong man. He grew up 40 miles north of Cairo in the town of Mit Abul Kom, Egypt; which is in the province of Minufiya. He didn't think that war would gain anyone happiness, because all it did was kill innocent people. I think Anwar Sadat was a great man, and it was too bad other people didn't see that.
