The articles of confederation were introduced in 1777 and this gave the power to individual states. During 1781-1789 the Aricles of Confederation provided the United states with an ineffective movement, however there were some strong steps taken in the articles to try and make the United States a better country. and not the constitution the government would have more control over us then is does. Although the articles set the United States free, it was unable to provide them with a solid government. There would have never been no unity. The United States would not have survived if there was no change or replacement in the Articles of Confederation. It is seen easily that the Articles of Confederation was weak and ineffective for our society.
