During the first half of the twentieth century America as a nation suffered from short sightedness and a lack of vision to the future. One of the places this is most notable is in the area of aviation and specifically military aviation. The Civil Air Patrol is an all-volunteer organization that has strived to promote aviation advancement, safety, and public service.
