In conclusion we see how Miller portrays Abigail as the most evil force in the play. With her chicanery plan and her deceitful lies she is successful in turning a Puritan society into hell on earth. With her total disregard for right and wrong she is responsible for the death of many innocent people. Her lust for Proctor destroyed a family and destroyed the lives of many.
