what the character was going threw and the third person shows how something different it is less emotional, but more factual and it is also far simpler as far as the emotional content is concerned. So it is to say that the third person perspective would have changed Kindred from an emotional novel of slave life in the antebellum south to a novel telling the reader the facts of slave life in the antebellum south.
