Poetry, plays, short stories, fiction, nonfiction, fantasy, science fiction, the list goes on and on. It is endless. Furthermore, interpretation of each of these works often varies tremendously. …showed last 75 words of 1550 total…is engrossed in her story, "How It Feels to be Colored Me". Also, she draws colorful metaphors and similes which give her story even more depth. Even though Native American stories are not my preferred read, Black Elk and Neihardt, give their component in the wide span of literary structure with Black Elk Speaks. Each of these works of literature is very different from the other. Each has its own place and its own readers.
