Permitting oil production in ANWR would decrease the United States dependence on foreign oils and spur economic growth, without hurting the environment. Drilling would allow creation of jobs, stabilizing of energy markets, and minimum gas costs for Americans. Obviously, drilling can not do anything, but help America's economy and increase wealth within the country.
