In commercials men and women have been pretty much represented equally. Women are now more often key characters in television programs. In movies women have occupations that have more authority. For instance, in the movie S.W.A.T actress Michelle Rodriguez is a police officer. Unlike the old stereotypes of women, Michelle stuck up for herself and didn't let even guys push her around. In the past women in movies were all quiet and
