With many different strategies and pitches, the pitcher has the most control over a baseball game. The pitcher is involved in every play that happens and even when nothing is happening, the pitcher has control over that as well. Most every fan in the stands has their eyes on the pitcher for most of the game, so that is even more of an adrenalin rush knowing that everyone is watching one player.
