Throughout history, political, social, and economical issues have split America in half. In 1852, Uncle Tom's Cabin, a forceful indictment of slavery and one of the most powerful novels of its kind in American literature, was written. As we start the 21st century, science allows us to push the limits of what man actually can do. This past week I handed out surveys for the GSA and I was surprised by all of the responses. Americans

ideals and torn families apart. There is no immediate being that can say who is in the wrong and be able to hand down a punishment. We only have our judicial system, and we can only use our prison system. We are humans, and it's natural to err, but it's our duty to strive for more. Thus, the point of this is that any time of unrest will make change and hopefully open some minds.
