They may well be room from change but the problems faced will be what will be a useable alternative, even with the rare miscarriages of justice that do occur. I feel that the law lords do have the public's best interests at heart and the job finding a reasonable balance is difficult, but despite this they are doing the best job they can in the circumstances.
