She lost almost all her children, she never meet her mother, she was shunned by her community by marrying a older married man, and having her first child at the tender age of seventeen. But, all in all, this novel really supports the saying: "Misery always almost leads to despair." (Telgen 200) Sadly enough, it this novel, Frankenstein, it is so true.
