the continuation of lives as well as the resurrection of lost loved ones. Children, in turn, protected their parents by avoiding asking questions. It is, nevertheless, astonishing that the Holocaust survivors and their families were able to adapt and go on. They did what they had to do, through strife and pain, to make it happen. They persevered and triumphed over the Nazis and showed them that the Jewish spirit and faith would never die.
