again photography has had an unparalled way of touching a person that no other medium could. The photograph plays on emotional intelligence, and transcends differences in language and culture. A person 100 years and 10,000 miles away from a particular moment can see exactly the same thing the photographer did when taking the picture. Photographs affect people, regardless of race, economic status or gender. Unlike the written word, photographs bypass the intellect and directly touch the soul.
