Would you want to change your whole style and appearance to make someone else happy? Well, many students from grades kindergarten to 12 are being forced to wear polo shirts, khakis, jumpers and skirts everyday to school. All in all, uniforms in public schools is a controversial issue. The uniforms are a waste and a disservice to the students. Uniforms aren't a good way to approach a problem. They violate a student's First Amendment, freedom of speech and stifle a student's individuality. Uniforms only solve the controversy over school dress codes.
