e evil and the guilt get to her and gradually erode her existence. I do feel sympathy towards her as she is only trying to help the person she loves. We can tell she was written in a time when women were seen as the lesser species because she is foolish in her thinking. She is clever and knows what she is doing but the logic behind it is short sighted and doesn't make sense.
